ADVERTISING Mazatlan, Sinaloa .- A pretty picture for Mazatlan looms next year with investments in real estate developments and residential projects.

The president of the Mexican Association of Real Estate Development (AMPI) in Mazatlan, Ernesto Guzman Garate, announced the construction of a condominium tower called The boardwalk "for after completion of the summer, which would be located next to the Hotel De Cima.

He said that by early 2011 the mega project in the Stone Island will begin with a hospital within 120 hectares of under 2 000, which will feature condominiums and retirement homes.


> Urban growth. Alfredo Reynaga Chicuate, representative of AMPI in Mexico, said that six affordable housing projects are planned for construction and half to the south and north of the city.

"The winter season will be very good, especially because there is enough supply to accommodate this market, either pre-or in new projects to be a magnet for investors."

Guillermo Garcia Coppel, president of Mazatlan's tourist development, said that it is in Grand Gavias delivery phase, while the end of the year will do the same and Escondido Peninsula Towers.
