Mexico. December 2010 is expected to open in Culiacan Two Hotel and in 2011 the building and opening of hotels such as City Express, One of Grupo Posadas.
This represents an investment of 20 million dollars (million dollars) for the hotel sector in the capital of Sinaloa state, said Oscar Guerrero Felix, president of the Homeowners Association of Hotels and Motels in Sinaloa (APHM).
Currently, tourism contributes 11% of gross domestic product (GDP) of Sinaloa, where just four years ago was 7%.

The state of Sinaloa, is in the top ranking in the best states in tourism just below Baja California Sur (BCS), Cancun, Quintana Roo, Jalisco and the Federal District (DF), besides having higher Acapulco air movement.
The official said the state's GDP is approximately 250.000 billion pesos, so that this sector provides resources to the entity for nearly 30.000 million.
As proof of this recovery, said that currently Culiacán is the second most important destination for the airline Vivaaerobus.
