Lima, April 6 .- The Mexican Secretary of Economy, Bruno Ferrari, ruled today that have slowed investment in their country because of insecurity and predicted that, by contrast, this year will enter capital by 20 billion dollars.

The official, speaking on a visit to Lima to sign a trade agreement with Peru, said that "far from there is a decline in the inflow of resources, curiously watching that investments are coming with more consistency."

"There is a strong inflow of resources for investment decision-maker makes long-term and the fact that Mexico is fighting, the way it does, organized crime provides an important assurance to companies and their investments," said .

Ferrari said that "preliminary numbers are in (a quantification of revenue) 18 billion dollars last year and this year predicted a 20 billion dollar investment, which are important figures."

Secretary of State stressed that "in reviewing foreign investment figures we had before the crisis in Mexico, they were close to 90 billion dollars so far in this administration, which is a record."

"On the exports are growing substantially and this aspect, the subject of violence, one should not underestimate and we must continue to address but has not been a problem for Mexico," said Ferrari.

He emphasized that Mexican exports, which last year reached 300 billion dollars, are higher than those held in conjunction the other Latin American countries.

He recalled that initially the government of President Felipe Calderon, Mexico had about 9.0 percent of the market share of U.S. exports and is now at 12.7 percent.

"Mexico's exports continue to grow worldwide. We have grown particularly last year almost 30 percent and there are some sectors which have grown much as 66 percent, as the automotive sector," said Ferrari.

He said that Mexico is going through a very important macroeconomic indicators show that his country is a very appealing investment, which "is growing for their export and Latin America is therefore essential." (With information from agencies / GCE)
