Aerospace companies added $300 million dollars investment

Mexico. The state of Queretaro has attracted investments of $300 million dollars in new companies in the aerospace industry, which have generated 900 jobs, said the head of the Sustainable Development Secretariat (SEDESU), Tonatiuh Salinas Muñoz.

In the remains of the year 5 new companies in this field will be installed, an operation that will have an investment of $150 million dollars and an offer of 500 jobs.

These companies that will arrive to the state in the coming months represent a third of the investments that have come from the aviation industry.

The head of SEDESU said that the aviation industry in Queretaro has projections for this year of a 255% growth, due to investments and increased production of some companies in the industry.

He said that the aviation industry has a recent presence in entity, but represent about 1% of gross domestic product (GDP) in the state to the end of 2010.
