Mastretta MXT, Mexican sports car will be sold in Europe

Mexico. 5 years ago it was decided to produce a high-performance sports car in Mexico, with an aluminum chassis, with cuts made with laser light, powerful engine, and is now a reality. $50 million dollars were invested to produce it from 2011, only 150 units were destined for the Mexican market and for export.
This was stated by Carlos Mastretta, general director of the brand, after adding that the design is 100% Mexican: suspension, steering and other components from renowned suppliers. The engine is a Ford Duratec 2.0-liter, turbocharged, 250 horsepower.
This project was supported by Nacional Financiera (Nafin), through the Global Entrepreneurship Program, and operates the institution as a partner for 5 years, until he recovers the investment, but actually only holds a 10% of total resources. And for this has required the support of other large investors.
Sales of the model will start during the first quarter of 2011, and during the first year of production capacity of the MXT model will be 150 units, which will grow to 500 units per year over a period of five years. The range of prices, depending on the country of consumption, will be between $50,000 and $60,000 dollars.
