The U.S. airline Spirit has among its growth projects in the country to open a new route that takes as its starting point the city of Merida to the Caribbean islands and the western U.S. territory.



Michael Pewther American entrepreneurs, and Mark E. Manuel Jacquez Kopczak, have expressed interest in joining the list of low-cost lines, serving the Yucatan and expand travel options from this Mexican city.



Considered that the decision to enter Yucatan corresponds to a study by the airline that gave good results by geographical location, security, growth of the airport and existing infrastructure in the state.



They said that Spirit routes are mostly on the West Coast of the United States, almost all Caribbean islands, in addition to flying to South America. (The Empire State)
