Finrural Will Promote Rural Tourism Projects in Mexico

Finrural will promote rural tourism projects

Financiera Rural will grant from 2011, financing for rural tourism projects to be carried out in communities of less than 50,000 inhabitants.

In 2010 Finrural placed $100 million pesos among 140 tourist projects focus on real estate. For 2011, the company plans to offer another $500 million pesos.

It also explained that interest rate is not determined yet and will depend on the type of project, but could range between 7 and 12%; the average amount per credit will be of $4.5 million pesos.

It will support rural, sustainable, ecotourism, adventure, cultural tourism and sun and beach projects.
